Here is the Letter from Wojo’s Sister Tara

Hello, My name is Tara. I am one of Rick Wojtanowski`s (Wojo) sisters. I just wanted to thank you for putting my brothers hit and run accident on your Web Site & Magazine. That was awesome! Well as you know the young boy who hit my brother and Amber was caught. The boy was only 15 years old he was out joy riding in his parents vehicle with some friends. They got the Amber’s wallet but my brother was fighting them off so he did keep his wallet. They were both left there bleeding to death til someone called 911.When the emergency officials showed up the guys robbing them left the seen and have not been caught yet, I think they should also pay. Well, since Rick and Amber have been in the hospital all of our family and friends have been doing everything we could to find this person who left them for dead. Our family has been going door to door asking if anyone new anything to please come forward, But no one seems to have seen anything, Dee (Ricks other sister) put together with all our family and friends (even stranger’s), a Rally holding signs asking for people to come forward with any information they had to help find this person who left two people for dead. We also handed out flyers like crazy with crime stoppers number on it and the ford explorer on it, I was also writing my cell phone number on them for people who didn’t want to call crime stopper’s. That is how we got the tip we needed to find this person and bring them to justice for our brother Rick and Amber. The tip came in about 11:00 am Monday morning the day we got justice. A tow truck driver was called to pick this truck up for repair, when he got there to the pick the truck up, He saw a green ford explorer with right front damage and he called a friend of ours got my number and called me with the info. The boy did admit to everything and we were told he said he was sorry to all of Rick and Amber`s family and friends for what we are going through. My brother lost the bottom part of his left leg, and they are trying to save the top part. Rick has had a few other problems as well and is starting to come around more and more everyday. Amber lost the bottom part of her left leg as well and is recovering as well. Amber is also a mother to two small children. Now that the driver has been caught we can all just concentrate on Rick and Amber. We are all angry and hurt that someone could just leave people on the side of the road for dead. Our hearts do go out to the family of the boy who has done this, We are all feeling the pain and it will take time to heal for all the family’s involved. Our family would also like to thank everyone who helped us in catching this person who stood beside us through it all, Thank you all so much from all of Rick’s family and loved one’s, we have tried to put this in the Bradenton Herald but they said they didn’t have room for it in there column. But, we got it to you anyway. Thank you from our hearts, Rick Wojo’s family.

 

This just shows what Bikers and their family and friends are all about. Injustice and Calous disregard for human life CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN! If you experience an injustice I urge you to fight for your rights and beliefs, Stupid Dicks can only succeed if they are allowed too!

Tuesday November 18th 2008
PLANT CITY FL. It was just like any other police skill riding exhibition. Officers proudly wearing their sharply creased uniforms and all the trimmings. All of the spectators squeezed in for a better look & The Leadership group from the Chamber of Commerce anxiously watched as four officers on motorcycles weaved around cones and drove in figure-eights on their800.lb Harley’s. Then it was time for the Nitty Gritty, the Crust of the Biscuit, what they all had been waiting for. It was time for a RADAR gun demo, by officer Chad Rader. So here’s the Blow By Blow: Rader took off like a bat out of hell and made a BEE LINE directly toward the bleachers. The crowd excitedly watched as Rader threw caution to the wind asking themselves "Is this guy gonna be able to stop "As Rader got closer, everyone realized he wasn’t going to stop. Suddenly the Bike was in the bleachers with a puff of smoke signaling the demise of the engine, injuring the police chief , Rader and 2 spectators nearby. (The injured parties HAVE hired a Lawyer) The Cops haven't stopped by to see how I’m doing, "I feel like they’re trying to sweep us under a rug," The 2 victims explained from their hospital beds. They think Rader lost control of his motorcycle but aren’t sure why. Officer Rader sent flowers and a note "Hope you feel better soon." The collision caused by Rader tore muscle tissue from the bone of one victim and his boss the Police chief is all scuffed up too. There is one thing to remember this was not just some Jasper on a bike, this was a highly trained Moto-Officer. What really happened to Rader? The Blue Shield of silence has been lifted. Will we ever Know? Or will this be swept under the rug with a secret settlement and a Monkey Spank? "CONKLIN"
