Just came back from our local H. D. dealership where we went to buy a pair of boots for me and some gifts for our friends grandchild, guess what it was as if we were at Wal Mart, every pair of boots and all of the baby clothes were made in  C H I N A.  Shades of Wal Mart, whats up with this ? Just thought you might want a heads up.

THINGS YOU WON'T SEE HARLEE McSWINE BUYING IN 2008  From the January 2008 Issue
This little note didn't go far enough bitching about clothes from Walmart, oil from Venusuala. Frankly, Walmart, I can understand since they serve the lowlife community, (They must, I shop there), but nothing pisses me off more then the outright audacity of Harley Davidson hanging $450 leather jackets in their stores that are made, guess where? Fooking China. Tees from China, Malaysia and the Philippines that cost pennies and retail for $25 to $35 because it is "Official Motor Co." outerwear. Well Lotty Freeking Da. Even with all it's shortcomings I love my Harley and am not ready to give it up but I'll be Fooked if I'll go to an authorized Harley dealer and buy one more piece of Chinese chrome for the son-of-a-bitch. Nor will I buy any clothes from them. In fact, I have written them and asked for an explanation of they're clothing policy but never received an answer. It would likely be some corporate rant about responsibility to share holders. Understandable when you can't sell your motorcycles to real bikers, you sell over priced clothing to posers. Well I say support your local bike night vendors and stay the hell away from HD stores. The stuff comes from the same place but they don't charge an arm and leg for it. If we all buy bootleg they'll lower the price or cut the Schitt.

As for Hugo Chavez and his oil: We need stop buying Citgo and 7-11 gas for starters. That should send a message. Any self respecting American should have his nads crushed under a 280 tire just for buying from them. They're all crooks so you may as well at least buy from a crook that  likes you.

Comments to Beanie Got Decked By a Cager on US 19

Fellow Bikers  once again the shit has hit home, This time with Beanie. Just sent a letter to the St. Pete Times that I wrote. It's BULLSHIT!!!!!! accident or not when a cager hits a biker he is going down HARD and it is always a civil matter so the dead one family or the one sitting in a chair the rest of his life has to TRY to go after the killer on his own. We need laws that help innocent vulnerable people its not like a trip to the paint shop and new fender it likely life or at least messed up for life Ya hit a bike and mess someone up the state should go after them dead bang ! Hell people get more hassle from a simple DUI with no crash  it this world  but talk on the phone and cross 3 lanes and hit a guy no biggie If ya cant drive right stay off the road OR pay up when ya screw up ya can start with cell phones ya cant drive and use one at the same time I have made some mistakes on the road but I am also more aware of bikes now that ever as I THINK about it more Cagers need to DRILL it in there head to slow down and LOOK and a HARSH deterrent is all ya can do without stopping people all the time for everything  hell I don't want to be stopped all the time  but how do we get the people who drive like shit to wake up its going to be a long fight.        Captain Scotty

I agree..with Capt. Scotty, along with riding a scoot i own and drive a 18 wheeler been doing it for close to 30 years now..people pay no attention to me when i'm in the big truck let alone when i'm riding...c-phones lately are the worse...but i've sen people reading newspapers..shaving..eating ...doing the nasty...if they don't respect a 80,000lb 18 wheeler what do they think of a guy on a bike??? i get really upset when a fellow biker goes down because of a cager...ride safe        Steve

 

 
I know what they said    I didn't see him.... won busy on the cell phone ???? not paying attention...oh just a guy on a bike....hope he wasn't badly hurt and his scoots ok....had a guy back into my scoot as it was parked  in a lot all by itself and this clown backed way up and right over it he said I didn't see it how can you miss it ????maybe we [bikers] are more aware because we ride more safety conscious.. more in tune to our surrounding...anyway like I said hope all is well soon ride safe        Steve

 

Please let Beanie know that we wish him a speedy recovery. Why is it that cagers can get away with attempted murder with only a minimal slap on the wrist at best??  My husband and Son were smashed into the back of a police car by a drunk cager buying beer at a gas station. You guessed it, nothing happened to cager.  Many LEO's ride and I don't understand why they let cagers off so easily.                Char L.

The incredible ignorance of the law by cops is unbelievable. We lost one sister on the 9th of December and thankfully Beanie did not suffer any severe injuries. The laws need to change and bikers need to change them. Mike K of the staff is working on getting a legal petition going to STOP CELL PHONE USE IN CARS.
