On a dusty summer day in 1938, local Indian motorcycle dealer J.C. Hoel set the wheels of history in motion when he promoted a flat track race at the Sturgis Fairgrounds. History comes full circle this year as the Pappy Hoel Speed Classic returns to the same historic dirt track where it all began. The event set for August 3-5, 2017 in downtown Sturgis kicks off a full week of racing during this year’s Rally.
In the tradition of Pappy and Pearl Hoel, we will have pro and amateur flat track classes, a motorcycle swap meet, food and product vendors, entertainment and more! All to take place on the historic race track of 1938, the original and only racing that truly takes place in Sturgis.
Single day passes can be purchased that will give you access for one full day.
The Weekend passes will cover you for all 3-days of the event.
The VIP pass is the greatest value and fun, giving you access for all 3 days, an event t-shirt and a special commemerative gift for this important event.
