Greetings from Flagler County. Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day and
gave thanks to our troops and the hero’s who gave all for OUR freedom. I
would also give our condolences to the family of Warren "Monk"
Schwarz, Co-founder/ owner of Dixie Biker Magazine he will be missed by
all. And the passing of a motorcycle icon Dennis Hopper of the movie Easy
Rider R.I.P. During the holiday lot of parties goin on , we rode to the
Ironhorse Saloon trying to miss the rain for the Church of Chops show,
there were some of the coolest scooter’s and custom car’s and truck’s
, it’s amazing what these people are building. Pam and I then headed to
White Eagle Lounge Bike Bash the place was jammin, good food , cold drinks
and rockin band.
On the way back we always stop at Chopper’s and
Chap’s in Bunnell for a ice cold one and to say Hi to Bob and the
friendliest waitress’s around Mustang Lori , starting in July, Customer
Appreciation Day (second Sunday of the month) and they will be serving
breakfast @5:30 a.m. starting July 12th. On Fathers Day Pam and I were out
for some motorcycle therapy, hit the back roads and ended up at Waldens
Bar in Daytona Beach saw Barry son and daughter they said their Dad was
doing good. Back to therapy, going out on US 1 stopped at the Kickstart
Saloon meet a older man who told me a few stories about Waldens Bar when
it was a grocery and gas station he was a child. It was getting late so we
were on our way home just had to have one more at Choppers and Chaps. Meet
