                            DEADWOOD STAMPEDE
$15.00 a person? A little steep maybe? And $4.00 a beer? What are they trying to do, keep up with gas prices?  Got the makings of a great bike event with all the space and all.  No advertising in our neck of the woods, (Polk Country). Next time, if there is a next time, try $10.00  entry fee and $3.00 beer and advertise that in the flyers and on line and see if you don't get more bikers.  Also I heard complaints from car riders about the distance they had to walk. A couple of golf carts would have handled that problem.
Kathy W. Polk County

Everyone has said it just like I would have.  This was a rip off and will never go to another one.  False advertising! oh heck ya!!   Guess we all should of gone to Starke, like I wanted to, we would of had more fun!

It sucked! the1st. one was a great time even though it rained. This was hot, dusty and way too comercialized. I know we can't control weather but what the hell was boat sales doing at a biker event? Hey Mr. Grubs, smaller is better. Get back to the basics. You have the makings of a really great party and party location. You need to go to the next old school biker rodeo and see how it's supposed to be done or at least get some ideas to incorporate into the next deadwood, if there is one. And what was up with the draft beer prices?                               SLEEZON

$4.00 Beer and all that dirt and shit. Someone took bikers for a ride and I don't meen on a motorcycle. Who in the hell is the Grubbs guy anyways?  Basically it was a fucking Lawyer Festival.
                      Johnny B       Brooksville

Those people will never get another dime from me! $4 beer, what do they think it was Daytona or Leesburg. I went to the first one and I thought they might of learned something. Well they did! How to screw Bikers!                 Carol S.   Bushnell

For the times we were there it was hot, and boring.  To be honest we are not drinkers and the price for water were a little high. $2.00 for a 16.9 oz bottle.  Most venues sell the same size for half that and still make money.                 Dave J.

I could' nt believe it 15 bucks and no people. Somebody told me the last one was great. I won't be returning to Deadwood ever again.4 bucks for draft Bud too!          Paul  New Port Richey

Draft beer $4.00, That's right 4 fucking dollars. What a rip off!
                                            Benny, Springhill

I did'nt even take any pictures there was NO ONE there.                         John P., Brandon

We should have gone to Starke where the real bikers where. Does that guy that put this thing on even Ride? WATER SKIERS? What's Up                      Michelle, Lake Pan

Although the weather was not to bad, a little hot but not problem. The problem I found it was to comercialized and my wife said it was like being at Sea World with the water sking shows. The $15.00 was a rip off, the beer was way to expensive. For 2 beers I could buy a 12 pack. The flyer promised all u eat pork, hotdogs, burgers ext. but when we asked they said they changed there mind at the last minute and started charging. Will I attend another one HELL NO, this one sucked so bad that we left after only about 2 hours. If I want to see a water show I will go to Sea World.       "Rick L."

Are you freakin kiddin me?!!! $15 for that lame ass crap? other than the guys jumping ramps on the dirt bikes,(they should get some props, was cool to see) it was boring as hell!we all spent more time, and had more fun at the 2 local tittie bars! and the beer was cheaper!   MRK

I can’t believe the beers were $4.00 and $15.00 to get into that. Had to walk 2 miles to get in and stand in the heat. Only good thing there was the Greg Billings Band. Those guys ROCK!

STARKE BIKEFEST

Blackfoot kicked ass on Saturday night! 32 oz beers for $5.00 Bucks. Jimmy Van Zandt was awesome too. I will be going back next year.                     Rocco, Crystal Beach

Great venue, nice and clean, plenty to do riding around like going to the Red Dog Saloon and Knuckledraggers had free beer and chicken dinners.             Cindy, Venice

This event is a no brainer, GREAT ENTERTAINMENT,
Reasonable Beer. Parked me bike 20 feet , right in front of the stage for Blackfoot and the beer was only 30ft away.
                   Bobby K.  Sarasota

I went to the Billibong Bar, It was cool in there and they had Venison BBQ Dinners with DIRTY RICE for $6.00 and was full liquor too. $5.00 bucks at that stinking Rat's Hole deal. That Sucked they should banish them from the next event.
                                            Paul Conroy, Starke

One word, BLACKFOOT!       Steve, Pine Island

Cheap hotel rooms and plenty of them if ya look around. Just watch it going through Waldo, it's a speed trap. Another good thing there are plenty of places to eat from Mc Donalds to Kentucky fried chicken. So there is more money for Corona's and Lime Juice! The bands where top notch to it was worth the ride, only 200 miles round trip. We saw DonV and some of the Scootergoods Staff there. They are some funny Bastards, they had us cracking up.
                                        Wendy, New Port Richey

Sweet Ladies, great time all the local bars and hotels had good prices and there where no scams. I will be there next year.          Big John, Polk County

We got some nice tit shots at the Red Dog. And check out this girl on the pole.Tammy.    And we got a shot of

DonV and the boys and Girls.

Man you talk about reasonable this Bikefest was great, but they need to keep them stupid EMCEES out of there. That Charlie Makay guy sucked and so did the Radical guy. They need to just bring out the bands and be done with it.
                                               Red,   Middleburg

The Parking lot outside and the grounds inside where packed with bikes. Me and my old ladies had a blast. Our hotel room was only 45.00 too. There is great riding up there and cool bars right around the fest.      Jack C, Leesburg
