DonV, This was my 3rd Rodeo, you guys do a great job collecting money for Veterans. This year we brought some of our family from Illinois and they will be returning with us next year. They said your event is better then the Bean Blossom Boogie done up in Indiana. I will be send a CD full of pictures we took soon. Ron, Ocklawaha

WOW!!!!! Is all we can say...what a party and for a
great cause. The Break From Life Band had the privilege of entertaining
the crowd on Saturday night and WOW!!! what a crowd (as the attached pics will
show a couple thousand folks partying their asses off). We would like to
thank everyone involved from the promoters down to each and every party goer
supporting this event. We have band members and family members that are
veterans or currently serving our country and we truly considered the invite to
this event an honor. The love and support shown to us was amazing,
needless to say we had an awesome time. Again a HUGE SHOUT OUT AND THANK
YOU to EVERYONE and we look forward to seeing each of you again in the near
future...."IT IS WHAT IT IS.....LET THE PARTY BEGIN".

I have been to a lot of Biker Events, and this is the Best. It was well organized and freedom of expression was certainly not a problem. You can't beat $10 bucks for the weekend for camping and there was plenty of great vendors. I will be back next year. Stacy, Paisley Fl.

I
am going to start out by saying that if you missed the Rodeo this year, you
missed one hell of a party. Where else can you go for 3 days, camp, bring your
own shit to eat and drink, and hear music while you are partying for $10? NO
WHERE THAT I KNOW OF! We had a hell of a good time this year. When I arrived on
Thursday, the first thing I did was put up Dale's tent for him. Dale owns
Mac's Place on hwy 41. Dale you owe me Bro. Things were a little different this
year with the back pasture opened up. I liked it a lot more that way. There was
much more room. The bands did a hell of a good job. I would like to thank them
for donating their time and music to this event for our veterans. The weather
was not bad this year either. It was a little hot, but not bad. The bike games
were a hit once again. Everything went really well and I would like to thank
everyone who had a part in the Rodeo for their help and hard work. This event
could not go on without you Brothers & Sisters. The vendors were great too.
There was plenty of food, drink, and wares. Some of my friends got new tattoos
this year. They won't forget where and when they got those. The Big Ragoo did a
great job with all the games and MCing he did too. It was good to party with the
Scootergoods Staff and all my Brothers & Sisters from all over. I hope
everyone enjoyed themselves this year and are planning on being back next year.
Tell all your friends about the RODEO, and tell em to join us in the pasture for
a kick ass time. I'm calling this years rodeo a success, and I'm out of here for
now. Til next time.......................................

It is a fact that the Government both local and Federal does not
help our veterans the way they promised.
We are lucky to have J.O. Batten, DonV & Chickenman who are
willing to put on an event to try to ease the financial strain for
those that served our country and now suffer. I went to the rodeo and
met lots of vets who have been pushed aside by the system and
are now fighting for the benefits they are entitled to. Thanks to all
of you for not only providing a great party, but also a place to meet
other vets and talk.

Jimmy,
Thank you for your service and continued support of Disabled
vets, I was at the rodeo in my wheelchair and was treated
tremendously well by your staff and volunteers while I was
enjoying the
music.

YEE HAW what a blast, we got there on Thursday afternoon and the party was on at our campsite. Music for 3 days is a good idea. A huge thanks to you DonV, and J.O. for organizing the greatest party in the USA. I JUST FINISHED UNLOADING MY BIKE AND AM ALREADY THINKING ABOUT NEXT YEARS EVENT. Charlie Harris, Palmetto Florida
As Ragoo says "Give me a big Hell ya"! So a Big Hell Ya to all of you for your support of Veterans. We love your book DonV. glad you have them here in Ocala now. We will always come to the Brooksville old fashion biker rodeo. Tell all the bike Game workers Thanks for the Biker Fun. Tootsie, Ocala

The
adult shenanigans where awesome, I will be sending you some
pictures. Even my wife got in the dunk tank to help raise money.
My friend Steve's wife won love the Banana too! I
just got back from a tour in Afghanistan, and was very
pleased to see that people like you guys are not letting myself and
the men and women I serve with be forgotten. I will be returning
for my 2nd tour in August 2010 and will be taking the pictures
and Video I made at the party with me. Also I would like to know
if you could send magazines to my Wife Patty so she can forward
them to me in Afghanistan.

You SOB's pulled it off again, what a party. We brought my brother in law and wife this time and they vowed right on the spot to never miss another Rodeo. Thanks for all you do for our vets (and us bikers). P. Shultz Tampa
Absolutely the BEST PARTY on the planet. I don't know how we ever missed the first 5. But we will never miss it again! The only way to improve is to have it twice a year! Robin D.

Sonny’s last Ride was to the Brooksville Old School Biker
Rodeo, which he attended in
Support of His Fellow Viet Nam Disabled Veterans.
"He will be Sadly Missed"
Hello, My name is Greg Peraino, I am the cousin of "Sonny" Longaker. I was just wondering if you had any more pictures of him that we could have for our family especially his mother. Also when exactly was the picture that is on your website actually taken. Thank you for your time as well as posting the in memory posting on your website. Sincerely, Greg Peraino
DonV, I had a great time! Every where I looked people were having fun ... no B.S. I talked to all kinds of people that I didn't even know, and it was like I'd known them forever ... was very cool! One guy pointed and hollared over to me that he had my autograph (from Feb. Scooter Goods) ... too funny! Bike games were awesome, beer was cheap, food was great, naked body painting (literally) tickled the girlz! Heehee! And I got me a fantastic new tat from the Tattudio boyz ... they do fantastic work and are just tooooo funny! I'm definitely gonna try to stay the whole weekend next year, cuz I missed the music ... especially Weirsdale's home boyz, Shaky Puddin'! Snowabbit, Blue Heron Cove Fl.
